Dr Huntzinger has provided the highest quality dental care to area residents since 1981. He participates in Children’s Dental Health Month in the community and is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Toledo Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Sports Dentistry, Academy of Sleep Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a founding member of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants.
Dr Huntzinger continues to attend many continuing education courses each year to ensure our office is providing the best treatment for our patients. Dental Health Associates was one of the first practices in Northwest Ohio to have intraoral cameras, digital x-rays, soft tissue laser, non-surgical gum treatment dental and a Dental CT machine. Dental Health Associates continues to be one of the leading practices in the area with 2ndgeneration CT machines, dental implants including mini dental implants and 3rdgeneration dental Lasers that can treat soft tissue and have the ability to do fillings with no anesthesia. Dr Huntzinger has three dental lab technicians in his office that make sure all Crown and Bridge work is carefully crafted and matched for color for all our patients. This lab also provides customization for dentures and partials. He has a special interest in dental treatment of sleep apnea, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and the management of dental anxiety.
Dr. Huntzinger has been involved in Sylvania for many years that has included teaching Sunday at his church, being a member of the Park board, one of the founders of Sylvania United Soccer, coaching many years of rec soccer and basketball as well have being a very active member of the Northview Boosters Club. Dr. Huntzinger and his wife Nancy have two grown sons, Andrew and Nathaniel and a daughter-in-law Jen who is married to Andrew. Andrew and Jen have two sons, Luke and Jacob, who attend Sylvania schools and participate in both soccer and basketball. Dr. Huntzinger spends his free time trying to improve his golf game, enjoying his grandchildren, Luke & Jacob and attempting to remain calm during Ohio State football games.
