Dr. Nanette Mick is a highly respected general dentist and one of the leading Invisalign® providers in Northwest Ohio. Dr. Mick is known for combining advanced clinical skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach. She earned her undergraduate degree in 1992 from The Ohio State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997 from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Dayton VA Medical Central, where she received advanced training on complex medically compromised patients.

Dr. Mick continuously pursues advanced clinical training in several modern dental technologies. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of dental innovations allows her to provide efficient, comfortable and highly personalized care for every patient. Recent education courses or training include the following:

  • Invisalign® clear aligner therapy which are custom-made, virtually invisible clear aligners to gradually shift a patient’s teeth into the desired position and improve your look and smile.
  • Solea® Laser dentistry which reduces the risk and pain of dental procedures by offering a less invasive technique
  • Botox® treatment for patients to help manage TMJ/TMD related pain and facial discomfort
  • Advanced sedation dentistry to allow the patient to feel more comfortable during dental procedures and reduce the overall anxiety

Dr. Mick is an active member of the Greater Toledo Dental Society, where she has served as a board member and maintains professional affiliations with the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Mick is known for her warm smile and demeanor, attention to detail and commitment to long-term oral health. She proactively serves the Northwest Ohio community with excellence, integrity and a passion for improving smiles.

Beyond the office, Dr. Mick lives in Sylvania, Ohio with her husband, Jon. They are proud parents of three college-aged children, Morgan, Lauryn and Connor. Morgan is currently attending The Ohio State College of Dentistry. Lauryn is currently attending University of Toledo College of Medicine and Connor is a junior at The Ohio State University majoring in pre-dental.
