Dr. Huntzinger grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and graduated from Northview High School.  He continued his undergraduate education at Denison University and completed dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  Go Bucks!  At OSU he participated in externships at various locations around the state, including the Northwest Ohio Dental Center.  In 2009 he joined Dental Health Associates and has loved it ever since.  He is a member of The Toledo Dental Society, The Ohio Dental Association, The American Dental Association, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Huntzinger believes that no two people are the same and that treatment options must be tailored to a patient’s individual needs and overall health. Using technology to improve patient care is a passion of his and a never-ending endeavor. He is skilled in using and training other doctors to use the Solea laser, which often replaces the need for a drill and anesthesia. He is certified through Implant Pathways in placing implants, lateral sinus lift surgery, and implant complications. He helped implement digital scanning in the practice which has led to the elimination of “gooey” impressions for almost all procedures.

Dr. Huntzinger and his wife Jennifer, a graduate of Denison University and the University of Toledo College of Law, are residents of Sylvania.  They attend Five Lakes Church and support local organizations involved with cancer support and recovery and mental health.  They have two sons, Luke and Jake, who are both avid soccer players and college football fans.  They are following in their father’s footsteps and will be attending Northview high school in the near future.  Dr Huntzinger enjoys golfing, skiing, coaching youth athletics, traveling with his family, playing tennis with Jen and cheering on the Buckeyes!
